We are halfway through Season 5 of the Backyard Baseball 2001 Online season, and we have entered “TRADE” week. Here’s what every single team in each league should consider doing. No matter if you’re in the Humongous League, the Junior League, the Super-Duper League & the Little League.
If you’re team currently in the standings have a “First Round Bye” for the playoffs, you might consider looking to see if you’re team has any holes, and fix them by making a trade or 2. Or just trust the roster you have. For the teams as of now, that are in the playoffs as of today, you should highly consider making 1 trade to improve your roster, depending on team need, unless you feel confident enough in your team roster. For teams fighting to clinch a playoff spot, teams still in the hunt, you should absolutely make at least 1 or more trades to help improve your roster needs, and it should be the right ones that could help you make a late run. And for the teams currently out of postseason hunt, I wouldn’t make any major trades, you could make a minor trade or to, or replace 1 player with the other by releasing a player via DFA and adding another depending on team need, but it’s up to you. Hope my solid advice above was helpful, and I’ll leave you with one more bit, don’t rush to start your next game, wait til trade week’s done & think… look at your roster, do you need an upgrade at a position, and if yes, make a move for that position. Hope this was helpful. This should be a fun “TRADE” week followed by a fun second half of the season.
